“They Shoot Messengers, Don’t They?”

Marine Le Pen is facing up to three years in prison as liberal repression of criticism of Islamist terror plumbs shocking new depths.
The president of France’s far right Rassemblement National party (formerly the Front National) Marine is set to stand trial over her tweeting of gruesome images of Isis atrocities in the Middle East, which included a photo of the decapitated body of US reporter James Foley.
A judge in Nanterre, just west of Paris, issued the ruling after Le Pen was charged back in February 2018 for circulating “violent messages that incite terrorism or pornography or seriously harm human dignity” and that can be viewed by a minor.
So a society that teaches homosexuality to four-year-olds and encourages mentally disturbed children to have their genitals mutilated thinks that young people should not be shown images of the terror threat posed by thugs sponsored by some of its closest allies.
And to stop that happening it uses a law supposedly designed to stop terrorist propaganda to stop people sending out warnings about and criticism of terrorists. By this ‘logic’, their insistence on putting gruesome cancer photos on cigarette packets is glorifying cancer and encouraging smoking!
Under this insanity, the most popular politician in France faces three years in prison and a fine of 75,000 euros ($91,000).
French prosecutors opened an investigation in December 2015 into the graphic series of tweets by National Front leader Le Pen, which included a photo of the decapitated body of US reporter James Foley. They were posted just a few weeks after the Paris terror attacks.
The move by a judge in Nanterre, just outside Paris, came after the National Assembly voted in November to strip the National Front president of her parliamentary immunity over the three photos of Isis violence.
In March 2017 year MPs in the European parliament voted to strip Le Pen of her immunity around the case in order to allow the prosecution to proceed.
“This only shows French citizens what the EU is, what the European Parliament is and that it’s all part of the system that wants to stop the French people’s candidate that I am,” the anti-EU Le Pen said in response to the move.
Le Pen had refused to attend a police interview over the investigation by police in the Paris suburb of Nanterre, citing her status as an MEP.
“I am being charged for having condemned the horrors of Daesh,” Le Pen told AFP.
The images were tweeted with the caption “This is Daesh” (an Arabic acronym for the Islamic State group) and showed Foley’s bloodied body with his decapitated head on his torso, a man on fire in a cage, and a victim being driven over by a tank.
Foley, a freelance journalist, was captured in Syria in 2012 and beheaded in August 2014.
Le Pen, who has over two million Twitter followers, addressed the tweets to BFM TV journalist Jean-Jacques Bourdin, who had likened her party to the jihadist group.
In September 2018, Le Pen revealed on Twitter her shock and anger at being ordered to undertake a psychiatric assessment in relation to her tweets. This classification of anti-system dissidents as ‘mentally ill’ shows just how far the liberal West has slid down the road to full-on Soviet-style totalitarianism.
The whole affair also shows how the law is being perverted in order to create the climate in which the liberal state can cover up the full horror of future Islamist terror attacks, then imprison anyone who gets hold of photos or footage and dares to act to show the public the full truth about what they face.
This is much more than just theoretical. During the attack on the Bataclan Theatre on November 2015, the ISIS terror gang gouged out the eyes of some of their victims. This bestial brutality was, however, never revealed by the political, police or media elite, lest it make the French people even more angry about this very ugly consequence of uncontrolled immigration and the elite’s wicked role in the creation and use Islamist terror gangs as foreign policy auxiliaries in places like Libya and Syria.
In the end, however, there’s not much point blaming the elites. After all, it is the French people who have so lost their moral compass and commonsense that they allow their masters to get away with such monstrous things.
When people allow their country and security to be simply given away, in exchange for a ‘mess of potage’ of social security, pensions and well-stocked shopping malls, there comes a point at which they are as guilty as the individuals who actually implement the policies of national suicide.
