Baseball Pays to Mutilate Kids

One of America's most iconic sports is now a sordid industry promoting the mutilation of children. At least 20 Major League Baseball (MLB) teams help fund or promote the genital and chemical mutilation of children, according to an analysis conducted by Nate Hochman of the National Review.

The shocking report finds that the teams either donate financially or in other ways promote organizations which push for kids to be allowed to surgically remove healthy body parts while lobbying against restrictions on pediatric “transgender” surgeries and drugs.

The Detroit Tigers, for example, allowed fans to direct part of the ticket sales for an April 1 game to the Ruth Ellis Center, which provides “transition care for transgender youth” with the Henry Ford Health System. This could include “gender-affirming hormone therapy,” “facial feminization surgery,” and “top surger[ies],” in which young girls have operations on their chests to remove the breasts or inhibit growth in the area.

But this is just the “tip of the iceberg,” according to National Review. The publication found at least 20 of the 29 teams that hosted a “Pride Night” also supported transgender surgeries and drugs. Only the Texas Rangers did not have a pro-LGBT night this year.

“At least six of those teams promoted or funded organizations that lobby against restrictions on youth sex-change surgeries and for policies such as ‘gender-affirming’ curricula for elementary-school children and ‘trans-inclusive’ K–12 sports,” the article stated. “Five other team Pride Nights promoted or funded groups that provide resources for, and often actively encourage, youth sex changes. Four promoted or funded groups that write referrals for or partner with clinics that perform medical gender transitions — either via hormone-altering drugs, sex-change surgeries, or both — on minors.”

“And finally, five teams have promoted or funded clinics that do drug-induced or surgical youth gender transitions themselves,” the analysis found.

The Oakland Athletics “donated $5 of every ‘special pride night’ ticket purchased to the Oakland LGBTQ Center, which provides hormone-replacement therapy to transgender individuals’ and lists ‘referral services’ as one of its offerings to ‘LGBTQ youth,'” Hochman reported.

Some of the teams funded or promoted groups that support the “transition” of kids, even if they do not directly inject kids with puberty blockers to sever their reproductive abilities.

The Arizona Diamondbacks, for example, partners with a group called “One-n-ten.” “Our mission is to serve LGBTQ youth and young adults ages 11-24,” the team’s website states. “We enhance their lives by providing empowering social and service programs that promote self-expression, self-acceptance, leadership development, and healthy life choices.”

“By taking a side in the culture war – in this case, using ticket money to fund groups that perform sex changes on children – MLB is injecting divisive social issues into an area of American life that used to serve as an escape from politics,” Hochman commented on Twitter.
