The climate alarmists in the Dáil – the Irish Parliament - plan to force householders to rip out perfectly good oil and gas heating systems and replace them with electric ones. How much are their cronies running the privatised electric industry giving them as backhanders?
They plan to pile massive extra taxes on diesel and petrol. Carbon tax will quadruple from €20 to €80 per tonne by 2030, a cost hike which, of course, will get dumped on the consumer.
Meanwhile, the UK will ban the sale of coal and unseasoned wood for home fires next year. These out-of-touch elites have no idea of the hardship their lunatic policies will have on ordinary mortals in the real world.
