Everything worthwhile takes time, and insulating the upper rooms to make the Priory warm in winter and cool in summer is really worthwhile. It's important in order to keep our energy bills reasonable, and absolutely vital to the comfort of future guests.

So even though we've not got much in the way of new pictures for you this week, rest assured that this essential work is going steadily. It's just that one section of newly insulated wall looks very much like another!

It's not just the converted attic rooms getting this treatment, those of you who've already visited the Priory in person may recognise this as one of the first floor bedrooms. George is working methodically through the whole house. It's a long job, but we're getting there!

And that's thanks to our regular loyal donors, whose generosity - often topped up just when we need it most by out-of-the-blue donations from individuals who we haven't heard from for ages, or even never before - continues to help get us towards the finishing line.
