Follow @KnightsTempOrgHidden beneath a piece of scrubby woodland in the English county of Shropshire is a remarkable complex of ancient caves. Hewn out of the sandstone rock, these are said by many to date back to the time of the original Templars.
The theory is given added weight by the unearthing in one of the caves of a medieval sword, and perhaps also by the very recent discovery of a number of Knights Templar graves in the historic church of Enville, only half a day's horse ride away.
It certainly is a most remarkable and atmospheric place.
