This short but fact-filled little video explores the castle and 12th century church in Clontarf on Dublin's north side.

The Order of Knights Templar were here from the 12th to the 14th century, one of a large number of holdings they had in Ireland, largely thanks to gifts of land and property by Anglo-Norman knights, who appreciated their combination of piety and military prowess.
