Laid! Last Priory Block of 2024

Thanks to the continued generosity of a number of wonderful people, work on our Priory Renovation project was able to continue right up until the beginning of the Christmas break. Our main photo shows Pastor Jim on the scaffolding erected to allow the erection of the vital new load-bearing wall on the edge of the staircase.

The last blocks on top of this serious piece of structural construction were laid as our builder prepared for a well-earned festive break.

With all the equipment and the building site cleaned up and quiet, the joyous calm in the pre-Christmas chapel reminded us of the immense progress already achieved in the whole Priory complex. Once again, huge thanks to all of you who have helped make this wonderful transformation possible. Deus Vult!
