Even Sir Jeremy Farrar, a key member of the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage), has said it has to stop, warning that Johnson’s lockdown obsession is having ‘very profound consequences’ on mental health, education and jobs.

Having helped impose the disaster on us in the first place, he now describes lockdowns as ‘awful’ and saying that we must learn to live with Covid without restrictions.

Popular commentator Richard Littlejohn also speaks for millions of increasingly frustrated and angry Brits when he says “We didn’t vote to Take Back Control from unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats in Brussels only to hand it over to unelected, unaccountable boffins in Britain.”
