October 13th - Templars Arrested!

Don't panic - we're not talking about us, today! This is just a reminder that today, in the year 1307, our illustrious forebears began the darkest period in the history of our noble Order. Betrayed and persecuted by a corrupt and jealous pope and a greedy king, Grand Master Jacques de Molay and many other Templar leaders were arrested on vile, trumped up charges.

Although posthumously cleared and exonerated, the men were tortured into making false confessions, which they later retracted.
