Pray for These Endangered Christians!

Thousands of Christians in Syria speak Aramaic - the language spoken by Jesus Christ. Right now they face a future which is uncertain at best, and deadly at worst.

In previous years, the Al Qaeda army which has been handed control of Syria by Western and Israeli interference routinely murdered Christian men and kidnapped women and children as sex slaves. With the media going along with their rebranding as 'moderate reformers', we're not hearing anything about such things right now, but there is no way of telling whether such sectarian brutality is being hushed up, or whether - for now at least - things have changed.

All we can do for now is to pray that our Christian brethren in Syria be kept safe and respected, and that Christmas will be celebrated openly in Christian parts of the country, as it has been for nearly 2,000 years. Deus Vult!
