We are very keen on making progress with a new American Templar Priory building, but we can’t make any progress until we complete the existing project that is already underway at the St Donard Priory in NI-UK. So, LET’S DO THIS!
So, as we are 70% of the way there with the St Donard Priory HQ we just need to pull together to get this over the line so we can concentrate on the USA project.
We have already Built the St Mary Magdalene Church, built and equipped the upper- and lower-Chapter Houses, built and equipped the Distribution Hub and completed a full re-wiring of the main Donard Priory House, as well as replacing most of the windows with triple glazing. These are massive achievements... WELL DONE FOLKS!
The quicker we get St Donard Priory completed, the sooner we can get to work Stateside, so what do we need to do to complete this project: 3 bite size phases.
HASE 1 – The big stuff
In God's strength We need to:
1) Demolish the back wall to install full Patio Windows onto what will be our banquet room and install the new windows to the rooms at the rear of the priory.
2) Replace an old wooden wall with a brick load bearing wall to second floor for safety reasons re Building Control.
3) Install load bearing steel H beams (nine in total) in 1st and 2nd floor and stair hallway. Again, re modern building regulations.
4) Demolish back living room wall to access new dinning/banquet room, install concrete lintels and double through doors.
5) Replace the four main fireplaces and repair chimneys. (We have the items we just need to install).
6) Install a functioning Kitchen (Again we have most of the equipment and utensils but we need units and installation.
7) Construct three bathrooms to service this large Priory house.
This work will take around 24 weeks and costs will be $25,000 labour and Approx. £5,000 in materials - Total cost of $30,000.
As you can see, we've made a great start, but time is rapidly running out.
