Teacher suspended for refusing to bow to LGBTQ Agenda

A Christian P.E teacher in the US state of Virginia has been put on administrative leave after saying that he will “never lie” to a student by saying that everyone can be any sex regardless of the one with which they were born.

Byron Cross, also known as “Tanner”, was speaking at the school board contesting two recently adopted school policies.

One policy required teachers to refer to transgender children by their preferred pronoun and the second allowed trans kids to play for the team corresponding to the gender with which they identify, regardless of their biological one.

Tanner began his brief speech by saying that his remarks came out of love “for those suffering with gender dysphoria” and added that it was not his intention “to hurt anyone” but that there were certain “trues that we must face when ready” especially when they “defile the holy image of God”.

“I love all of my students, but I will never lie to them regardless of the consequences,” Cross said.

“I’m a teacher but I serve God first and I will not affirm that a biological boy can be a girl, and vice versa, because it’s against my religion. It’s lying to a child. It’s abuse to a child. And it’s sinning against our God.”

According to Fox News, the decision to put the teacher on leave was announced in an email addressed to parents. In the email, Principal Shawn Lacey said that Cross “is on leave beginning this morning. In his absence, his duties will be covered by substitute staff already working in our building."

“I wanted you to know this because it may affect your student’s school routine. Because this involves a personnel matter, I can offer no further information,” the email reads.

The reasons behind the decision were not mentioned in the email and a spokesperson for the school said no further comments could be made other than to confirm that Cross is on administrative pay with leave.
