A Tale of Two Nations

When individuals sin in private, God punishes the individual sinners. But when the people of a nation — and their government — openly accept and even celebrate sin, then He will at some point lose patience and punish the entire nation. When a people idolise sodomites and celebrate their wicked way of life, they invite the judgment of God to fall upon the entire nation. When a nation rejects homosexual perversions and embraces a traditional Christian view of family life, they invite the blessings of God. The current federal legislation in Russia and America is setting the stage for the fulfillment of this age-old pattern.

Federal Laws Currently Being Decided in America and Russia

On July 18, 2022, the United States House of Representatives passed (267-157) the "Respect for Marriage Act", in favor of making homosexual "marriages" legal nationwide according to federal law.

On November 29, 2022, the United States Senate passed (62-37) the "Respect for Marriage Act". Now it is being sent to President Joseph Biden for a signature.

Though the Supreme Court had already forced homosexual "marriage" on all Americans in 2015, recent comments by the court had worried liberal lawmakers that the court might possibly overturn their own decision. Now, with homosexual "marriage" entrenched into federal law, a hypothetical Supreme Court decision reversal would not bring this practice to an end.

On November 24, 2022, the Russian Duma unanimously passed (397-0) federal legislation banning LGBT Books, Movies, Advertisting, & Media. The bill is now being sent to the Russian Senate, where it is expected to easily pass. Then the bill is to be sent to President Vladimir Putin for a signature.

Thus in Russia, the federal government is banning sodomite propaganda nationwide, while in America, the federal government is securing sodomite "marriage" for an entire nation. In America there are Militant LGBT Activists Persecuting American Christians, while in Russia, "coming out" statements are to be forbidden. Based on this information, is it any surprise if God sends blessings to Russia, and judgment to America?

At the highest level, the federal governments of both Russia and America are simultaneouly preparing the way for the fulfillment of prophecies that have been made by the most venerable Orthodox Saints and holy elders. As St. Paisios has said: When an individual sins, God punishes the individual, but when the government sins, God punishes the whole nation. Russia is preparing itself for God's blessing, and America is preparing itself for God's judgment.

Saints & Holy Elders Have Prophesied What is to Come:
