Templar Cave Mystery VIDEO

In the corner of a small wood in a field in the western English county of Shropshire is a small tunnel entrance. It could almost pass for a badger hole, but what lies beneath is something truly astounding.

The hole leads to several intricately carved caves, hewn into the soft sandstone rock.

The style of the carvings strongly suggests that the caves were excavated by the Knight Templar, although some have suggested that they could be a much later aristocratic folly. Whatever the origin, it's certainly an atmospheric place.
