Templars, Crusaders and Serious History

For those of you seriously interested in history, here’s an excellent account of the later stages of the Crusades.

From the great Third Crusade against Saladin, right through to the Reconquista of Spain, this takes in many other important details, such as the Crusaders’ brutal capture of Constantinople, which fatally damaged relations between Western and Eastern Christianity, through to the way in which the Knights Templar effectively founded a (non-usury) international banking system.
