Well after 900+ years It humbles me to say that the Knights Templar International Order is now moving ahead with the establishment of the first ever Priory in the USA. 

Unlike many others, we only establish a priory when one exists, ie, a Building, thus a REAL Priory not just a name. Therefore, we must first secure the Building then we can legally constitute an American Priory with an installed Prior and full complement of office bearers.

Being a functioning military order, we have broken this down into objectives.

Regarding the New priory Church in Houston, I am pleased to say that our American Sir Knights concluded, in principle, to forge ahead with its procurement and renovation!  This is a day many have prayed for and certainly lifts my spirit in these dark and evil days in which we live.

We took up a collection at the conference and I am amazed that our people were so generous, giving almost $7,000 on the day! Well done and thank you to all those solid members who gave so generously. You are a Credit to America and your faith.

We have set a provisional Phase ONE budget of $38,000 and we have already raised $7000 so we need to raise $31,000 immediately.

The time for talking is over, now we need ACTION! You lobbied for an American priory, we listened, now it is up to you all or Ya’ll to provide the money needed to turn talk into REALITY…ARE YOU ON BOARD BROTHER?  Can I tell the contractors to submit their best quotes? Will YOU dig deep for this piece of American history in the making?
