
The US M-1917 Bolo Knife with Scabbard was the same basic Bolo Knife used by our military from the turn of the century through WWII. Manufactured from 1897 to 1918, it went through a number of changes during its production life. First issued to medical personnel in the field it was later issued to fighting troops and used to clear brush, fields of fire and for any task requiring a “chopper”.
