Avanti Ragazzi Di Buda – great song about Hungary 1956
The heroic Hungarian popular revolution against Soviet oppression and alien rule began this day in 1956.
Many of the school-children, students, workers and patriotic revolutionaries who took part in the doomed uprising are still alive. And though they are getting old now, the memory of their courage and sacrifice continues to inspire to this day.
This is one reason why Hungary will NEVER surrender to the EU’s plan for national suicide through mass immigration!
Avanti Ragazzi Di Buda is a great Italian song about the Uprising. The version here has English subtitles.
Forward boys from Buda,
Forward boys from Pest,
Students, laborers, operarians
The sun does not rise in the East.
We’ve been awake during the night
The night of a hundred months, maybe more
Dreaming of the glorious October’s dawn,
The dawn of Hungarian youth.
I remember you had a rifle
Bring it to the square, I’m waiting for you,
Hidden among my school books
I’ll also take a gun.
