Transport and chaperone fund for veterans and elderly
We have many elderly members including veterans who are physically infirm and unable to travel unassisted, who have asked for the Orders assistance in order to attend Her Majesty's funeral procession in London.
These fine men and women need our assistance to get to and from the event. There may be in excess of 5 million people at the funeral so we need to provide care assistance and transport and that will be a substantial drain on our volunteers and resources. Therefor, we require your assistance to insure we can offer our best services to as many (old warriors) as we can.
I invite you to chip in to make this once in a lifetime event accessible to as many of our elders as possible. As a matter of principle, attending Her Majesties last farewell is a matter of honour. Let's make their dream come true
