As Templars we are famous for our frugality and thrifty ethos, therefore we are currently running on computer systems that are at least TEN YEARS OLD!  In today’s technological fast-moving age this is bordering on ‘prehistoric’ our IT boffins tell me and is causing the Order serious issues and downtime.

We loathe spending any money on ourselves as you know but we are not foolish and if our equipment is now interfering with our efficiency and ability to operate and full power then, sadly we need to modernise. So, I need to reach out to you to respectfully ask for your immediate assistance IF possible.

We have done our due diligence, shopped around and cut prices to the bone but even still to upgrade our central admin office we need the following:

4x Modern mid spec PC’s, (One of which will be upgraded for graphic design, video editing and website development)

2x New monitors (we can salvage some old ones)

1x New mixing desk for the ‘Templar Report’

1x New camera

The total outlay will be £5,890 or $7,970

This is not in itself a huge sum for us but as you may know we have just printed 500,000 free leaflets to help others fight the lockdowns and are still involved in the Chapel renovation and on top of these , it is just after Christmas and this is always a hard time of year financially.

The only good thing about January is that most prices are at their lowest so we must act NOW!
