It's not just a building. It's an excruciating illustration, not just of Catholicism, not just France, but  of Western civilization. Churches all over France in the last few years have been set on fire and vandalised by those hostile to Europe and the faith that gave birth to the great civilisation man has ever known. But that civilisation which gave birth to Shakespeare, Martel and Aristotle looks to be sleepwalking to the cliff's edge...
