The coming of a new Pope always brings a period of uncertainty for all Catholics. Pope Leo XIV is no exception, but his announcement that his choice of name was inspired by his predecessor Leo XIII gives us all real cause for hope that he will be guided by Catholic Social Doctrine and be sympathetic to the old traditions.

Sign the respectful plea to urge the Pontiff to unify and heal the Church, and to confirm your decision to say a special prayer that Leo XIV should receive Divine inspiration and guidance as he assumes the great responsibility of his most sacred office.

We the undersigned most respectfully urge Pope Leo XIV to defend traditional Roman Catholicism. We note with joy that, when speaking at the Jubilee of Families, Children and the Elderly, the new Pope defined marriage as 'the measure of true love between a man and a woman: a love that is total, faithful and fruitful.'

In signing this, we also each commit ourselves to pray for Pope Leo and to ask that he be guided on the path of wisdom to heal the wounds of a church damaged by liberalism and by the persecution of faithful traditionalists. May Leo XIV become a great Pope and a true leader of the Church.
