Stabbing Rampage In Paris
Two of the seven people seriously wounded in the rampage which took place in the French capital on Sunday night, were British tourists.
The injured Brits, aged 56 and 53, remain in a "very serious condition" and were among seven wounded by the 31-year-old attacker in an unprovoked attack on Sunday night.
The attacker used the Britons as human shields as he tried to avoid stones and metal balls thrown at him by a large group.
The attacker, believed to be in his 30s, struck at a cinema in the north-east of the city just before 11pm.
A source close to the investigation said of the attacker: “He is unconscious in hospital in Paris, and has not spoken since the attack, but he was carrying immigration documents issued to an Afghan minor.
