It isn't over until these big tech companies are regulated, broken up, and an Internet Bill of Rights is put in place and enforced.
At this point, If you trust any corporation with your private information; information you wouldn't write on a bathroom stall or on the side of a bus, then you cannot complain when it ends up in the wrong hands. A world without Facebook in its current form is a world worth living in.
