Christian Teacher Vs Trans Tyranny

A Virginia teacher who was fired for refusing to use the ‘preferred pronouns’ of a trans-identified student has filed a complaint against the school board that dismissed him.

While the teacher used the girl’s new male name and avoided using students’ pronouns at all in class, he told the board that – as a Christian – he could not go along with their pretence of calling her ‘him’ in a meeting called to discuss the issue.

Peter Vlaming, a former French teacher at West Point High School in Williamsburg, filed the complaint on Monday.

Vlaming is seeking a permanent injunction that allows him to be reinstated, a permanent injunction preventing the school board from punishing staff for their views on gender identity, $500,000 in damages for lost wages and benefits, and $500,000 in damages for “loss of reputation, pain, suffering, and emotional distress.”
