Second Thoughts on Euthanasia

One of Britain's most influential liberal journalists is having second thoughts over her support for 'assisted suicide'. Writing in the Observer, columnist Sonia Sodha revealed that stories hinting at “a lack of safeguards” emerging from Canada had prompted her to rethink her support of a change in the law in the UK.

Canada legalised euthanasia in certain circumstances in 2016, but quickly scrapped the requirement for a person to be terminally ill so that disabled people can now request that a doctor kill them. Growing numbers of shocking cases have emerged as the number killed in this way has soared to more than 10,000 a year. Many vulnerable people are being put to wrongful death in a scandal that is worrying even liberals like Sodha.

Lawfare Against Christians Intensifies

It started with forcing Christian bakers to make cakes for ungodly perverts, but the Woke/LGBTQ+ war on Christians hasn't stopped there. In fact, it's got even more crazy.

A federal judge has just ruled that a Catholic hospital in Maryland discriminated against a transgender patient by refusing to perform a hysterectomy as part of their gender transition.

Officials at St. Joseph Medical Center, which is owned by the University of Maryland, refused to proceed with a hysterectomy scheduled for transgender 'man' Jesse Hammons, 33.  Hammons, who is in fact female, brought the suit after the hospital said they could not perform the surgery due to guidelines set  by the National Catholic Bioethics Center.

Why They Hate the March for Life

The annual March for Life will take place on January 20th in Washington, D.C., on the 50th anniversary of the infamous 1973 Supreme Court decision. Despite the overturning of Roe vs Wade, the forces of Good are still on the march, because there is still a great deal of work to be done before the wicked violence of abortion is done away with for good.

But there are some voices - leftist 'Catholics' as well as the abortion lobby and feminists - who hate the March for Life and are saying that it is no longer necessary. Right now they are doing all they can to get it cancelled, or at least to dissuade some people from going in the hope of making it much smaller. So why do they hate it so much?

First, a march signifies a forward movement in sync with others. Pro-abortion forces can deal with an unfocused and fragmented movement. However, the word “march” contains the notion of strength being united and directed toward a given goal.

Woke School Cancels English Hero

One of England's greatest naval heroes has been cancelled and shoved down the Orwellian Memory Hole by a woke school in multicultural South East London.

The Sir Francis Drake Primary School in Lewisham has been renamed as Twin Oaks School after a vote by its overwhelmingly non-English parents and staff to ditch the association with the Elizabethan seadog renowned for his key role in the defeat of the Spanish Armada in 1588. Drake was also the first Englishman to circumnavigate the globe.
