Queen’s Not So ‘Secret’ Message
Follow @KnightsTempOrgThe Queen sent a 'pro-EU' message during her Christmas Day speech by wearing a brooch that resembles the European flag, an academic has claimed.
Despite remaining publicly neutral on politics, academics have interpreted the outfit as bearing a striking resemblance to the EU flag - therefore conveying the Royal's stance on Brexit.
Dr James Anderson, an academic at the University of Reading, took to Twitter to say the Queen has expressed her 'personal views' during the speech which was broadcast to eight million people.
The pro-EU clothing mirrored similar garb the Queen wore to make her most recent Speech in Parliament. Her choice of blue and yellow matched the colours of the EU flag, and the yellow buttons in her hat closely resembled the EU flag.
In her latest Christmas message, the Queen also made a favourable allusion to the pro-Brussels propaganda which falsely claims that the EU is responsible for the lack of war in central and western Europe since 1945:
'For the 75th anniversary of that decisive battle, in a true spirit of reconciliation, those who had formally been sworn enemies came together in friendly commemorations either side of the Channel, putting past differences behind them.
'Such reconciliation seldom happens overnight. It takes patience and time to rebuild trust, and progress often comes through small steps.
'Since the end of the Second World War, many charities, groups and organisations have worked to promote peace and unity around the world, bringing together those who have been on opposing sides.
Fortunately, a large majority of her subjects rejected this elite and anti-national interpretation oh history, yet again voting for Brexit and freedom.
