Social Media Bias – Will Trump EVER Act?

President Donald Trump on Monday charged big tech companies with discriminating against him and suggested it would be ‘easy money’ to go after them as the European Union is doing. 

‘I can tell you they discriminate against me,’ Trump said when asked about the companies in an interview on CNBC.

It is not, of course, the first time that the President has complained about the left-wing bias of the social media monopolies:

‘You know, people talk about collusion. The real collusion is between the Democrats and these companies because they were so against me during my election run. Everybody said if you don’t have them, you can’t win. Well I won. And I’ll win again,’ he added.

While it’s good that Mr Trump is talking about this issue yet again, it would be better still if he would actually take ACTION to deal with the problem. He also needs to be accurate and realistic. The social media companies were not particularly biased against him last time – it was the mainstream legacy media that was (and remains) drastically biased.

In the last presidential elections, Facebook in particular operated a fiarly level playing field. We and other conservative news outlets were free to post memes and to boost posts, with enormous effect.

Now, however, we have all been silenced, gagged and deplatformed. Anone who thinks that the next election can go the same way, when Trump’s entire support base has been effectively wiped off social media is living on Fantasy Island.

The President needs to stop talking. He needs to stop thinking that the main victim of censorship is him. He needs to take action right now to force the libtard social media giants to unmuzzle the entire ‘conservative’ movement – without a single exception. Anything less would be a betrayal – and an act of political suicide.
