South African Government Presses Ahead With Land Confiscation of Farmers
The persecution of farmers in South Africa has been ramped up by the surge in farm murders and the looming prospect of land confiscations. The Marxist ANC is now on the verge of passing legislation that will do just that and the predominately Calvinist farmers are preparing to resist.
South Africa's president says the ruling African National Congress (ANC) will push ahead with plans for the expropriation of land from white farmers, without compensation.
Cyril Ramaphosa says the ANC will try to amend the Constitution with the support of the left-wing Economic Freedom Fighters.
Experts have warned the country faces huge food shortages if the constitutional amendment is pushed through and foreign companies are weary of investing in Africa's largest economy.
Bennie Van Zyl, the general manager of the Agricultural Union of South Africa said: “For us, this is a pity that they've made their choice, because no one will invest in this economy and we actually need growth to address the realities of South Africa. So we have great concern for this approach."
“A lot of foreign countries that have already contacted us as an organisation say if that is the case, we are not willing to invest in your country anymore."
The Western medias silence on this issue tells us all we need to know about their agenda. The slaughter of thousands of farmers and the theft of ancestral lands would not be tolerated in any part of the civilised world, yet with the exception of some Australian and Hungarian politicians, no Western leader dares touch the subject.
