In the last fortnight, The Home Office has the asylum applicants of three Iranian Christian converts by citing their Christian faith as grounds for their rejection. Just imagine if the shoe was on the foot, if a Muslim was fleeing Christian persecution and a Home Office official cited passages from the Koran, or questioned the sincerity of a Muslims faith in order to halt the asylum process, what do you think would happen? That official would be immediately jailed for hate crime!
