Follow @KnightsTempOrgThe Fall of Acre in 1291 marked the end of two centuries of Crusader presence in the Holy Land. The Knights Templar were the very last men out, and the last stand of the brethren in the city of Acre was an epic moment in the whole history of the Crusades.
The events around that dramatic turning point in history all feature in our forthcoming Official History or the Knights Templar Order, Pilgrims of the Sword.
