The First Crusade - Full Documentary
The First Crusade ran from 1096 to 1099. It began when the Byzantine Emperor asked for military support from the West against the Seljuk Turks.
This call was met with an enthusiastic popular response across all social classes in western Europe. Crowds of predominantly poor Christians were the first to respond, but after they were defeated members of the high nobility and their followers embarked in late summer 1096 and arrived at Constantinople between November and April the following year.
The crusaders liberated Jerusalem on 7 July 1099. After this the majority of the crusaders returned home.

Scott Morrison, who has been Prime Minister since August 2018, subsequently somewhat walked back the comments, saying that there will be “no compulsory vaccine but there will be a lot of encouragement and measures to get as high a rate of acceptance as usual.”
The measures being suggested would really give most people no choice at all. The difference between the liberal position on such compulsory mass medication and their usual insistence that a woman has the right to choose to kill her baby is enormous.
